Tonight is another feast! I believe I heard that the “theme” is chicken, and if you like chicken, there is plenty of it! Bessie’s chicken gumbo is sure good, as is the rest of it, but I think that was my favorite.
The plan was for Roy to open, and George Lambert & the Moonlighters to play out the first two hours, however, work got in the way, so when Roy gets finished, Jimmie Maze and the Milano Playboys will be playing early. Jimmie had been scheduled for the second half of the show, looks like the first 4 hour show is getting cut down a bit. Oh well, be sure to come out for the next show, in two weeks. Rimshot will be doing the first two hours, followed by Jimmie Maze and the Milano Playboys for the second two hours. I hope to see ya then!
When Jimmie Maze and the Milano Playboys took the stage, Henry Sefcik joined them, with his guitar! This is the first time he has played since his surgery, it is wonderful to have him back playing again! Also, Sarah Mathis joined them, playing the harmonica, and she is good too!
After a while, Don Cook joined in and sang, and Roy Sanders played guitar. Having everyone get together is what music is all about! Come on out and join us, we’re here the 2nd and Fourth Saturday of the month, and it is always a great time!
