Roy Sanders opened up with a set of really beautiful instrumental music, with both guitar and banjo, then sang more of the blue-grass, back home on the porch songs, this is the stuff I really look forward to every month, Roy really does a great job.
Starting with the third video, George Lambert Jr and Sr, we’re joined by some new faces to Chriesman. Macy Martin, Blake Reeves, Dusty Walkinshaw, and LaDonna Lambert, all came together to deliver tonight’s Opry.
As you look at the pictures, you will notice three of the members are much younger than the usual artists that play here, the girl in the center, Macy Martin is only 14, and the young man to her left, Blake Reeves, isn’t much older, however they all perform at a level beyond their years. I had heard about Macy Martin from George Jr., who had mentioned he had her coming to sing, and for part of the show, where she was not the solo or main singer for that song, you could hear that she could sing, but was holding back, when she was the lead, look out, this 14-year-old just about rattled the windows, she has a great voice!
A little bit late to the show was Chuck Crneck, also doing his part, and then Thomas Polansky joined in for a few, it was a very nice show. We’re you here? CLICK HERE and see who was.
