Roy Sanders opened up tonight and delivered that Bluegrass, Gospel, and Country, sound from way back when families sat on the porch singing together, he can really find some of the almost forgotten music from the past, Roy does a great job, it is always a treat to hear.
When Milam’s Texas Moonlighters came on, they played “Happy Birthday” for the birthday kids, Larry and Joy, then moved on to their regular set, with George senior doing “the cattle call” and other favorites. Tina came on , sang, and played her harmonica, then George Lambert, junior and senior, with the rest of their band finished up with even more of our favorites, their music selection is many of our favorites, a great show!
Now with 5 members, they are really getting better every week! If you haven’t heard them recently, come on out and take a listen, that old country sound is really nice.
