Cross-stitching, knitting, crocheting, quilting,and appliqueing are just a few of the activities happening on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at the Chriesman Community Center.  This ladies group is loosely organized….no officers, no by-laws….just a group formed to learn, make new acquaintances, visit, and “just get out of the house”.  We officially meet from 10am to 4pm but have stayed as late as 7pm.  Some bring a sack lunch and stay all day.  Others come just in the morning or in the afternoon and some just drop in to say “Hello”.  All seem glad to share their knowledge of craft skills with anyone wanting to learn something new or wanting to improve their current skill level.  We would love to have more ladies join us.  For more information, call Linda Krueger at 979-567-9187.
